Besides, Christmas IS the news, so we’ll keep it short, with just a few reminders of key dates and opportunities to keep an eye on this week and next.
Blue Christmas service: The Conference Older Adult Ministries Team will offer a virtual Blue Christmas service at 7 p.m. today. Register for the virtual service.
Payment deadlines. Individual year-end gifts to the Conference must be postmarked by Dec. 31 for credit in 2025. Churches’ year-end gifts must arrive no later than Jan. 9.
Winter Soulstice registration. The registration for the Jan.16-18 Winter Soulstice Retreat for high schoolers and college-age young adults is Dec. 31. Register for the Winter Soulstice Retreat.
Damascus Project registrar. The Damascus Project theological education ministry is seeking a part-time registrar to provide learner support and database, technology, and communications support, See the Damascus Project job post.
Orientation for church treasurers. Online orientation for church treasurers will be offered at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Learn more and register.
