No day like today to make your Annual Meeting plans

If you feel as if Annual Meeting 2026 is coming up fast, you’re right. With spring association meetings a thing of the past – and Pride celebrations and graduations taking center stage around our former June meeting date – Annual Meeting is set for April 10-11 at Green Lake Conference Center. Here are some important things to know to make the most of your Annual Meeting experience:

Registration is open. The meeting theme, Cultivating Community: Rooted in Christ and Bearing Fruit, points to the broad, deep relationships the Holy Spirit makes possible across the Conference as we share resources, stories and ministry how-to’s. There’s no time like Annual Meeting to build connections that will enrich your congregation’s mission and ministry. Register for Annual Meeting

Make your room and meal reservations today. The block of rooms at Green Lake reserved specifically for Annual Meeting attendees will be released Feb. 23. After that, you may be competing for accommodations with other groups – and you pay wind up paying more. Don’t delay. Register for accommodations and meals today.

Check out the pre-meeting Intensive Workshop. The theme of the workshop on Thursday, April 9, is Rooted and Reaching, Connecting Within and Beyond the Local Church,  a further nod to the Annual Meeting theme. The day will explore internal connections that form in congregations through worship practices such as preaching, music, prayer, and the arts, and external connections that occur through community ministries and justice initiatives. The Intensive Workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Ley Chapel at Daycholah Center. Learn more and register.

Authors, here’s a chance to show off your work

Are you an author who is part of the Wisconsin Conference? The Conference Historical Committee is offering two avenues to showcase your work at Annual Meeting 2026. First, email Eden Theological Seminary bookstore manager Scott Holl and ask him to carry your book or books at the Eden table at Annual Meeting. Your other option is to donate up to 10 copies of your work to be featured at the Historical Committee’s exhibit table, where they’ll be offered for a suggested minimum donation that will benefit history work within the Conference. Email John Helt for more details.

Conference ministers reflect on Civil Rights tour

In a new video, Wisconsin Conference Minister Franz Rigert and his Minnesota counterpart, the Rev. Dr. Tanya Sadagopan, discuss the recent bus tour of sites in Alabama and Tennessee that played key roles in the Civil Rights movement – and reflect on how the lessons of the movement can be applied today. Watch the video.

It's time to submit Yearbook data

It's time once again to submit Yearbook data. Each church should have received a packet in the mail as well as a separate email. The email contains this year's access code. The national office has requested that we do not share this code publicly. If you can't find that email but need the code, please call Andrea or Nola at 608-846-7880. The yearbook reporting period ends April 10.

Access Yearbook reporting instructions here.
