Hotel Leaders & 30,0000 Letters Reach Congress; Add Your Voice Now  
The hotel industry is facing an abrupt and unprecedented drop in hotel demand that is gaining pace and getting progressively more severe every day. AHLA Members have sent over 30,000 letters to Congress to express the urgent need for Congress to act now to help support our workforce and allow hotels to continue to support communities.

Yesterday afternoon, hospitality leaders, including Chip Rogers, president and CEO of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), Jon Bortz, AHLA Board Chair and chairman and CEO of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, and Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, met with President Trump, Vice President Pence, and members of the cabinet to ask for urgent economic recovery assistance for the hotel industry, which has suffered major blows in the midst of the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Event Postponement: WWIL & HSMAI - WI Joint Luncheon on April 20
Wisconsin Women in Lodging 
The Joint Scholarship Luncheon scheduled for April 20, 2020 at The Edgewater in Madison has been postponed. We are excited to bring this event to you in the early fall after the COVID-19 pandemic issues have been addressed. We will keep you informed as we schedule a date for this event.
