Due to security concerns in the Red Sea, the following impacts on the supply chain are expected: a 15-25% reduction in capacity and an additional 10-14 days in transit times. Some carriers require allocation plans, and Israel bookings are limited. Prepare for surcharges ($500-$1000 per TEU) and a potential rate increase ($3000-$4000). Insurer adjustments may lead to higher costs. Delays in equipment return and longer transit times may impact Chinese New Year shipments.
