Artegon Marketplace
Going Big for Small Businesses on Small Business Saturday

Mom and pop shops, brick and mortar stores, holes in the wall-there are many names for them, but small businesses can always be defined by one word: vital. They are the lifeblood of entire communities, not only providing goods and services to those they serve but also a unique character and a boost to the local economy.

A major part of the Anti-Ordinary vision for Artegon revolves around their putting small businesses on the pedestal they deserve. In celebration of Small Business Saturday (November 26!), they interviewed some of the small business owners who make a big impact on Artegon and Orlando as a whole.

The Seaport District NYC
The Taylor Swift Experience

One of the GRAMMY Museum's most popular exhibits to date,  The Taylor Swift Experience,  gives visitors and fans an in-depth look at the multi-platinum selling artist as a singer, musician, songwriter, entrepreneur and style icon through personal photographs and home videos, interactive experiences, handwritten lyrics of Taylor's top-charting hits, and iconic performance outfits.   This exhibit is now at the Seaport District NYC.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace
New Boston Tradition Is Born...Blink!

Blink! - the state-of-the-art light & sound extravaganza that transforms every inch of America's first open marketplace - returns to Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Marketplace Center for a fourth year. This magical and unforgettable light show uses over 350,000 LED lights to illuminate Boston's skyline - to the song stylings of the Holiday Pops - in a seven minute spectacle that runs continuously each evening throughout the holidays.

Trade Show Round-Up
We just returned from World Travel Market in London, where we represented the Seaport District NYC, Artegon Marketplace and The Outlets at Assembly Row. We ended up with:
  • 25 tour operator appointments and walk-ups with whom we were able to meet (in addition to all the material picked up from the counter and brochure racks).
  • 14 tour operators from the speed networking session.
  • 18 media/sales/editorial professionals, including bloggers.
WTM was very successful for our clients and we are busy doing all the follow-up from the show. Lots of interest in shopping and dining in the USA!
