Fair Oaks Branch Library Curbside Service Update
On December 30, Fair Oaks Branch Library Curbside Service hours are changing to Mondays and Wednesdays from 2pm-6pm. Appointments are available here. You can also swing by with your library card and we will find you something to read, listen to, or watch, even if you don’t have an appointment.

Actualización del servicio en la acera de la biblioteca sucursal de Fair Oaks
A partir del miércoles 30 de diciembre, el horario de servicio en la acera de la biblioteca sucursal de Fair Oaks cambiará a los lunes y miércoles de 2 pm a 6 pm. Las citas están disponibles aquí pero si pasa con su tarjeta de la biblioteca, estaremos encantados de ayudarle a encontrar algo para leer, escuchar o ver, incluso si no tiene una cita.
WiFi in the Downtown Library Parking Lot
Reminder! We have outdoor WiFi coverage to provide better access to the community while our libraries are closed. WiFi at the Downtown Library covers Lot B, the large parking lot at the corner of Jefferson and Middlefield. There are 5 reserved parking spaces, offered free of charge Monday through Saturday from 10am-6pm with a 2 hour limit. Winter Reading Challenge!
Accept the challenge December 2, 2020 through January 9, 2021. This year the whole family (Kids! Teens! Adults!) is invited to accept the Winter Reading Challenge. Visit our Winter Reading Club Window along the right side of the Downtown Library in Parking Lot B on Wednesdays from 3pm - 7pm and Friday & Saturday from 10am - 2pm. Kids and teens get a free book when they join the challenge and finish the Winter Reading Club. Learn More

Dogs love to hear stories! Read to a specially trained dog provided by the Peninsula Humane Society.

TUE JAN 5, 6pm
The group meets year-round and is open to all non-native English language speakers who are interested in developing their speaking fluency.

Live English/Spanish bilingual storytime with Armando through Zoom.

LIBRARY SERVICE UPDATE

  • Read more, worry less. We are fine free!
  • All Redwood City Public Library locations are currently closed until further notice.
  • Downtown Library bookdrops are open to accept returns. Branch Library bookdrops are open on Curbside Service days. Go here for hours.
  • Curbside Service for picking up holds is available at the Downtown Library, Fair Oaks Branch Library, Redwood Shores Branch Library and Schaberg Branch Library.
  • Our events are online! Check our calendar here.
  • Meeting room reservations are cancelled until further notice.
  • Borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks; use streaming TV, movie, and music services; and access digital subscriptions to newspapers and magazines here.
