"Cultivating Unity: MDHCC's Collaborative Alliances for Community Empowerment" | |
In 2023, the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC), led by Marco V. Ávila, P.E., took a monumental step towards fostering unity and collaboration within the community by partnering with esteemed local entities like the Salvadoran American Chamber of Commerce (SACOC),led by Juan Umanzol; Latino Providers Network (LPN), led by David Rosario; Alliance for Hispanic Commercial Contractors (AHCC), led by Karen Barbour; and Story Tapestries, led by Ariana Ross. These strategic alliances, solidified through the signing of MOUs, mark the beginning of a collective effort to amplify information and resources for our members and the wider community. This collaborative network extends a hand towards bolstering the educational sector, leveraging partnerships to seek and secure grants while nurturing a dynamic exchange of resources and expertise. The synergy of these partnerships propels our organizations towards growth and empowerment, consolidating our impact.
As we stride into 2024, the resolve is strong to expand these partnerships further, striving to operate harmoniously as a unified force, dedicated to uplifting and enriching our shared communities.
