Happy New Year

As we reflect on the year, we are filled with gratitude for your support. We are reminded that our mission of "SAVING MORE THAN DOGS!" is possible because of individuals like you.

Just look what was achieved in 2024 with your help:

THIRTY-FOUR adopted dogs!

TWO dogs who began training at PIP and then went into an advanced outside program to become service dogs for Veterans!

FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS for our mentor inmates

$64,000+ in donations

$20,000 in grants

TWO new Board members and a Volunteer Coordinator!

All of this success was visible in our annual holiday dorm party! So many of you contributed funds, food, and gifts to make this celebration the best to date.

The ladies always decorate the dorm with their creative skills and this year was themed "Lady and the Tramp." They made various decorations with cardboard, toilet paper, and Dollar Store paint. Disney would be proud!

Witness the joy with the video links below!

The "fireplace" below was hung with stockings labeled with all of the resident dog's names.

Alamo Dog Obedience Club and Top Dog Training Center donated dog toys. All of our pups picked out their favorite to keep! Look at Annie, below, just adopted (!), making a tough decision on which toy to pick.

Mr. Brown's Pet Shop donated dog treats, photographed here with model, Hailey!

Lockhart Tractor Supply donated dog toys and treats photographed below with our adoptable Elsa!

Ladies of Charity Lake Travis Thrift Store also contributed to the giant pile of dog toys up for grabs! Look at Zelda trying to decide which toy she will take with her to her forever home as soon as one of you lucky readers fills out an adoption application for her.

HEB Lockhart donated the salad.

And financial support from JMJ Insurance Agency DBA Low Cost Insurance, Zachariah H, James and Diane L, Laurie S, Patrick P, Carole L, and discounts from Rosie's Pizza purchased the pizzas, cupcakes, and gift bags of toiletries for our dorm participants.

The below photo shows the goody bags being distributed and opened. Thank you for your generosity towards holiday cheer!

One of the best parts of the celebration was that we had FOUR former program participants, now paroled, visit the dorm to share their success stories. The ladies were moved to tears with motivation.

Thank you to Latrice M, photographed above, for coming all the way from Houston! And thank you to our local frequent fliers: Carrie M (photo below), Micah H, and Nicci S for sharing your inspirational stories!
