Happy New Year to you and your furry family! As the year ends we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and be thankful for the support of our loyal dog lovers. We wouldn't be here without you. This last year we adopted out 551 animals to amazing homes and our intake was 582 animals.

We strive to provide our community with a dog rescue that shows compassion, care and commitment to our animals that are in our care as we also change the mindset of dog care and responsibility within our community. We are excited to continue to serve our dog loving community in the New Year and have many new and exciting programs coming up.

Cheers to another great year! If you have any questions now or into the New Year, don't hesitate to contact us. We're always happy to help.

If you can, please consider a monthly recurring donation to help us with our enormous costs for veterinary care and dog food. Any little bit helps. We have a button above that takes you directly to our website where you can sign up. We appreciate our community's support and we promise to responsibly use these funds for animals in our care.

If you would rather send a one time donation via USPS, here is our mailing address. We appreciate you.

Dog Food Transport!
We would like to thank the people that transported dog food back from COSTCO for us here on the East side. We got so many messages with offers of help! It truly brightens our day that we have such dog loving people who follow along with us and are willing to help.

If you are traveling to COSTCO and can shoot us a PM or a text to 808-960-1704....we can let you know if we are in need of food again. We will pay you for it when we pick it up from you. It saves us $4 per bag on transport fees with your help.

Foster Spotlight t!

Aysha Spencer

Aysha has been fostering with Aloha Ilio Rescue for many, many years. She is responsible for the saving the lives of many, many dogs. She particularly likes the dogs that are overlooked due to age or neglect and when they leave Aysha's house they are completely different dogs! Aysha does require a FBI background check, complete blood work on the human, a home visit by DPS (Dog Protection Services) and lastly......a promise set in stone that her adopter will care for the animal she lovingly fostered for its entire life, till death do they part. hahaha. We love working with Aysha as she brings so much joy to our group and her heart is always in the right place. We love you Aysha.
