Dear Friends,

Over the coming days we will gather with family and friends to celebrate one of the greatest Holy Days in the Christian calendar, the Resurrection of Christ. A symbol of rebirth and renewal, the miracle of Easter fills our hearts with joy and gratitude for the blessings we enjoy.

As the war against Ukraine continues to rage, we keep Ukraine with its resilient people and courageous defenders in our prayers.

We send a special message of hope to those who have made Canada their temporary home and have joined us in building our Ukrainian community. The Shevchenko Foundation (TSF) is grateful to all Canadians and Ukrainians who continue to demonstrate that together, we are truly one culture strong.

May your Easter be blessed, and your home filled with love, faith, and hope.

Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen! Ukraine, too, will rise!

In response to the needs expressed by the community, TSF is pleased to once again offer grants in support of summer recreational and arts opportunities for newcomers to Canada.

Sadly, the war against Ukraine rages on and many Ukrainians are forced to remain away from their homes and families. We appreciate the efforts of Canadians who continue to work tirelessly to support those fleeing the war, helping them adapt to a new home, friends, and a way of being.

Ukrainian Canadian charitable and non-for-profit organizations are eligible to apply for this special grant funding. Applications are now available at the link below.
