Feng Shui tips, ideas, & simple habits you can add to your day & life
With 9 guas or life areas in the bagua, there are definitely a few areas that are usually on our client's hot topics. Those include wealth, health and love. So, it made sense that in this issue of the newsletter, we talk about one of those - the idea of love! And while we love lots of people, this kind of love is considered for your love or partner relationships.

Scroll on to read more about love and partnership with Feng Shui, tips and ideas to boost your current relationship or attract your person, and know that no matter where you are on the range of relationship status - Feng Shui has something for you.
Love and Relationship in the Bagua
If you recall from last month, lay the bagua map over the entire main level of your home. The main entrance to the space is at the bottom of the grid, with you facing the structure. The Love and Relationship or Partnership gua is the back right quadrant when facing your space. An interesting note, the opposite diagonal to Love and Relationship is the Knowledge and Self Cultivation gua. This diagonal is very powerful as it is beneficial and important to have a strong sense of self and self love when in relationship with another. An imbalance in the self cultivation gua can affect your relationships - and vice versa. Read more about the Feng Shui Bagua.
NOTE: Some schools of Feng Shui may apply the bagua a bit differently or call a particular segment a slightly different name, we all agree on the concept of the 9 grids or life areas.

Love and Relationships

Amy touches on the physical feng shui of a space - but what we love the most in this article is her discussion of focus. Really thinking about what you want, what your intention is, and how to present that intention in the most meaningful and impactful way.

"...set aside time and thought about the relationship you would like to invite into your life, then start making enhancements to your physical environment. Remember to make the changes slowly and keep track of what you change and when you make the enhancements."

The Master Bedroom

"February is the perfect time to take a look at your Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom in Feng Shui is one of the most important rooms in your home. It is the room you spend 1/3 of your time. This room is for sleep and romance. Anything not related to these two things does not belong in your bedroom."

Final Thoughts: Love Your Home and Love Yourself

1. Discover your likes and dislikes
The most important aspect of loving yourself through your environment is to learn more about your interior environment is to learn more about your likes and dislikes. Spend time looking at pictures on the internet and in magazines and identify your interior style. Follow your instincts and create a home that truly reflects your persona. There is no right or wrong in interior design, it is after all your home!

2. Choose colors that help you feel motivated.
What would life be without colors? An important aspect of your interior environment, different colors are linked with different feelings and emotions. Pink is the color for love and promotes a feeling of comfort in uncertain times. Decorate your home with accents of pink to feel the love. Similarly, orange is a beautiful color to use when you want to feel younger. Light purple is the color for spirituality and will deepen your sense of gratitude.

3. Create a gallery wall
Happy artwork or photographs will stimulate an emotion of happiness and contentment. Print pictures from memorable events in your life and create a gallery on a blank wall. This will give you a reason to smile every time you look at the photos.

4. Indulge in a cozy corner for yourself
Every now and then we all need some self-indulgence. Create one such corner in your home where you can retreat to be with yourself. Choose a corner in your home and place a comfortable chair, a reading light and a stack of books. Once in a while, give yourself the liberty to cozy up in a throw with a mug of hot chocolate in your little corner.

Now more than ever it is important to show love for yourself and your home.
