Skuttle Tight, a Willmar, Minn.-based manufacturer that offers two insulted attic access system that are easy to install will support the team at Texas and for the season-finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway on Nov. 16.
“I can’t wait to get back on track this weekend in the Skuttle-Tight Ford F-150,” said Little who has four top-10 finishes in 2018. “I feel very confident about our ability to go there and have a good run not only for ourselves but for Skuttle Tight.
"I really appreciate them coming onboard to support our program – and I hope this is the start of good things to come in the future.”
Chad Kompelien of Skuttle Tight said the company is thrilled to venture into the Truck Series with Little and JJL Motorsports. “Although were not rookies to NASCAR sponsorship, this will be the first time with the Camping World Truck Series and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with JJL Motorsports and Jesse for the races at Texas and Homestead,” he said.
“Our products are used by the construction trades and we all know they love their trucks!”
Skuttle Tight sets out to address the many issues of the conventional attic hatch entry system. They currently produce an all-in-one attic access entry system which is insulated, uses a gasket, is easy to install, and is virtually invisible. Skuttle Tight is committed to having the highest quality, affordable product on the market.
For the fourth time in his Truck Series career, Little will compete at Texas’s 1.5-mile oval. In his three previous starts in 2015 and 2016, the son of former NASCAR driver Chad Little has posted three top-20 finishes, including a personal-best of 15
in Nov. 2015. Knowing how well his JJL Motorsports team has performed this season on the intermediate tracks, Little believes he can eclipse his performance and earn his sixth career top-10 finish.
“Texas is a very fast place, especially since the surface is still relatively new,” added Little. “I think we’ll be prepared for that with my Skuttle-Tight Ford F-150. My crew chief Matt (Noyce) feels confident we have a good setup and very competitive Truck.
“On the flip side, the (racing) groove is narrow, so you really can’t get out of it, otherwise you could find yourself losing a lot of spots. I expect it to be a competitive race where we’ll be tightly bunched, and drafting will be a factor. The fans should be in for a good show.”
Friday night’s race will also see the return of Grindstaff Rub. Co. who returns to the team as an associate partner for their final two races in 2018. Grindstaff Rub Co. joined the team for two races earlier in the year at Iowa Speedway and Gateway (Ill.) Motorsports Park respectively.
Founded in 2016 by U.S. Air Force veteran and restaurant entrepreneur Grindstaff, Rustic Rub Co. started as a BBQ rub company initially releasing All Purpose and Three Kings rubs, however, the company’s success has evolved into a brand and lifestyle since releasing their own version of a Bloody Mary mix.
In addition to Skuttle Tight and Grindstaff Rub. Co., Little’s No. 97 Ford F-150 will have support from Ford Performance and Performance Friction Corporation (PFC) Brakes.
Looking forward, JJL Motorsports continues to work hard on securing partners and sponsors for the 2019 season and is looking to showcase JJL as one of the top teams in the Truck Series for prospective business and marketing partners. field will take the green flag shortly after 7:30 p.m.
