WITH SO MANY RECENT RESCUES, DONATIONS ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED!

Dear Friends,

As you know, we rely on the LBWF family to help us to help the precious souls in need of safety and a loving home.

We get calls constantly of people losing their homes due to eviction, foreclosure, etc., begging us to help with their beloved pets. This is in addition to the already staggering number of perfect dogs in the shelters hoping to get the second chance they so desperately need and deserve.

We, the rescues are in the trenches trying, but, it’s a truly endless stream of heartbreak and struggle! We have been advocating for this crisis facing homeless, companion, animals be added to our states recent declaration of emergency signed by our governor.

Inflating prices are affecting everyone, especially the vulnerable, like non profits. We are seeing such a rise in food costs and water alone. The rescues water bill is now up to 175.00 a load! We need one load, at least, per week, to keep the rescues watered, bathed and bedding laundered etc. With the approaching temperatures in the 90’s, we will need an additional load per month. All this is in addition to the rising medical costs and a multitude of other associated expenses. The not-for- profit organizations are trying to keep up as best we can, but we need assistance.
