Our heartfelt gratitude for all you've done for East End Hospice this year. While we look forward to the new year with hope and optimism, we also reflect on the strength and resilience of our community this year.
Throughout the pandemic, we've augmented our services in ways never previously imagined. We introduced telemedicine and telemental-health, created Zoom bereavement groups, and held our first virtual Tree of Lights memorial service. We implemented health and safety protocols to ensure that in-person care continued. The doors of our Kanas Center for Hospice Care remained open to family and friends. Camp Good Grief, our children's bereavement day-camp, was held in-person with great enthusiasm.
East End Hospice is committed to improving lives across Long Island's North and South Forks. You ensure that we can offer expert care, comfort, and compassion to more than 2,500 people each year, including nearly 700 terminally ill patients. You help us launch new programs and raise awareness about hospice's important role in the healthcare system. Together we ensure that every person facing terminal illness has the support they need.
By making a tax-deductible, year-end gift to East End Hospice, you help us work harder than ever before to facilitate Hospice care to patients on the East End of Long Island. Patients and families receive the holistic care needed to navigate the unique physical, emotional and spiritual demands of terminal illness.
Thank you for helping families from across our region experience the best possible quality of life.
With warm wishes this holiday season and appreciation,
From
