Let's Talk About It!
Young People Eager to Talk About Loneliness
On March 29, we hosted our most well-attended Dialogue Nights to date. Called "The Loneliness Epidemic: Can We Talk About It?," it featured more than eighty Boston area students and young professionals who seemed far from lonely as they engaged in passionate, heartfelt conversation from the beginning of the event until long after it concluded. The relevance of the topic for young people today, and their desire and willingness to open up about it, was evident throughout the evening. An icebreaking activity was followed by two in-depth discussions exploring what loneliness means, how it feels, and ways we might overcome it.

Conversations on Our New Book
In February and March this year, George Mason University in Virginia hosted two book launch events for Peacebuilding Through Dialogue . The first was held at Mason's School for Conflict Analysis & Resolution (S-CAR), with editor Peter Stearns and co-authors Susan Allen and Mark Farr on the panel and the dean of S-CAR, Kevin Avruch, moderating. The second was held at the Fenwick Library as part of the Mason Author Series and again featured the participation of Peter Stearns and Susan Allen. Both events balanced informative panelist presentations with ample time for Q & A. Many thanks to all who participated!

In case you missed it, recaps for both events are now available on our website. You can also view the livestream recording of the S-CAR event here .
