Beautiful wooden arbor, erected by Sanders Freed, longtime friend and colleague of Pat Dunn's, now graces Wolf Haven's prairie.
WOLF HAVEN INTERNATIONAL, Tenino, Washington, July 9, 2021:

Wolf Haven is pleased to announce that in honor of Pat’s tremendous legacy, our prairie is now known as the Patrick Vance Dunn Memorial Prairie. A beautiful wood arbor in memory of Pat, and erected by Sanders Freed will serve as a touching reminder that Pat’s legacy will continue as we build on his good work that will benefit future generations. Pat, a tremendous advocate for prairie restoration and a good friend to Wolf Haven and many others, passed away on July 28, 2020.
For over 25 years, Pat led prairie conservation and restoration efforts in the South Sound. Pat’s legacy will continue through the innovative conservation strategies he helped to implement, the wildlife habitat protection he facilitated, the partnerships he cultivated.
