For almost four decades, the U.S. and Mexican governments have worked together to save the Mexican wolf from extinction. In 1994, Wolf Haven was selected to participate in the Mexican Wolf Species Survival Plan. Since then, we've celebrated the birth of nine litters of Mexican wolf pups and released two Mexican wolf families into the wild in the U.S. and one family in Mexico.
For a quarter of a century, Wolf Haven has provided a respectful home and the best available care to each Mexican wolf living in our sanctuary. We remain committed to seeing the Mexican wolf thrive.
