The O'Reilly Minute

Dear Parents,

I hope you had a blessed and joyful Easter with your families! Yesterday, we gathered at 8:10 a.m. in the gym for morning prayer to celebrate the Easter season. Our prayer was filled with joy, song, and celebration, beautifully led by members of our after-school Prayer Club and our 8th Grade Faith Committee.

We were also grateful to welcome Mrs. Jo Welsh, who joined us to kick off our annual diaper drive benefiting the Bottoms Up organization. Mrs. Welsh and her husband, Tim, serve as President and CEO of this nonprofit, which provides clean diapers to families in need throughout Central Ohio. This year, St. Brigid School is partnering with our parish for a parish-wide diaper drive in May. More information will be shared soon. To learn more about the organization, please visit:  Bottoms Up

I am excited to share that next week we will celebrate the arts at St. Brigid of Kildare School! We invite you to join us for our annual Art Show and our spring musical, High School Musical. These events highlight the incredible creativity and talent of our students. Whether in the art room, on stage, in the classroom, or on the field, each child shines in their own unique way. We are truly blessed to provide opportunities for our students to explore and share their God-given gifts.

Thursday, April 16

Art Show – 6:00–7:00 p.m.

High School Musical – 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Friday, April 17

Art Show – 6:00–7:00 p.m.

May the blessings of Easter be with you and your family.

The Mantle High School Youth Group: Invitation for Confirmed 8th Graders

Hi there, Parents! I hope that you all are doing well!

We are praying for your teens in this exciting season of preparing for Confirmation! Come, Holy Spirit!

With them stepping in more fully to their Catholic faith, we are excited to offer The Mantle as an opportunity for your teen to dive in more fully into their faith, especially as they are entering into high school.

We would love to invite your teen to join us for all of our Mantle events starting after their Confirmation on March 27. We want them to get a feel for what youth group is as they are in 8th grade, so that they can make that choice as they enter into high school to join us. Attached is our April calendar, and they are invited to join us!

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let me know!

In Mary’s Mantle,

Ellie Dills

St. Brigid of Kildare High School Youth Minister
