It’s August and time to count down to the first day of school!!! Our teachers and staff are looking forward to seeing everyone at “Meet The Teacher” on August 22nd and looking forward to the first day of school! I would also like to remind you that our uniform suppliers are experiencing supply shortages so shop early and also plan to attend our Uniform Exchange on August 14th. Also, a reminder that if you have not already done so, please register for bus transportation with your local school district. Information is in the article below.

FACTS: Web Forms & Teacher Assignment |
All students in preschool through grade 8 will be using FACTS to complete their back to school Web Forms again this school year. These forms will be available beginning Monday, August 22nd. Upon login, you will be prompted to complete your Web Forms packet. Then you will be taken to your home screen where you will be able to see your child’s teacher assignment.
On Tuesday, August 23rd, you will receive an email asking you to complete your child’s transportation form. This must be completed prior to the first day of school. Please watch for this email.

We begin this year with a “Meet The Teacher” on Monday, August 22nd from 4:00 - 6:00 pm hosted by our Home and School and our School Advisory Committee. This event will be outdoors behind the school. Families will be invited to visit classrooms to “Meet The Teacher” and then spend time outdoors visiting information tables and enjoying treats. Come in the front doors, stop by the Home and School table, pick up your treat tickets, and proceed to meet your teacher. Then go outside for the welcome back party. Preschool students will have a separate meet the teacher playdate. Information about this event will be sent to preschool parents via email.

Uniform Information: Buy Early Due to Limited Supply |
We have received notice that due to supply chain issues, uniform inventory is extremely limited. Please be sure to shop early for any uniform items you need.
PE Uniforms:
For the 2022-23 school year, we will continue to have the all black gym pants and jackets with the dark green St. Brigid required PE t-shirt. No logos, stripes or wording of any kind or color on the jackets or pants is permitted. Both must be all black. If there is a small logo, it will need to be covered. No outer fleece pants (fleece lined is acceptable). No leggings, yoga, or tight-fitting pants for girls. No hoods on jackets. Quarter zip or full zip is acceptable for the jackets.

*Currently EA does not offer any of the all black gym pants or jackets.
You may also order the all black gym pants and jackets online from our spirit wear vendor Morganheimer. They have many options in youth and adult. The store is open now and will remain open for orders until next Wed Aug 3rd. Items should arrive for pick up or ship out the week before school.

Sign Up to Attend the FREE Uniform and Spirit Wear Exchange on August 14 |
Back to school is around the corner, and the kids have grown so much! Here’s what you can do . . .

Donate! Gather all gently-used school uniforms and spirit wear and bring them to school from Aug 8-12 during school hours. A list of accepted items can be found here. Non-logo articles that are not claimed at the end of the exchange will be donated to another school in need!

Shop! If you’d like to shop, please sign up to attend the FREE uniform exchange in the school cafeteria on Aug 14, 10 AM-1 PM. You do not need to donate to shop and you are welcome to bring your children to try on items! There will be free spirit wear items as well.

Volunteer! Volunteers are needed to organize clothes, help shoppers, and clean up. You can shop while you volunteer! Sign up here.

The transportation departments from Dublin, Hilliard and Olentangy schools require all new and returning families to register your students for busing this fall. If you are a new family moving to the area, and don't know your new address yet, please contact them as soon as you have this information.

A Night Out to Strengthen Your Marriage
Saturday, August 27, 2022, 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.
Hendrick’s Hall – St. Brigid of Kildare Parish
All married and engaged couples are invited to St. Brigid’s 23rd Make It a Date!
It will be a flashback Saturday as we reminisce about how we first met our spouses and our first impressions of each other.
Parishioners Mark and Patsy Callahan will be our guides on this journey down memory lane. The Callahans have been married for 22 years and have 2 children.
Like always, we’ll have light appetizers and there will be a chance to catch up with old and new friends.
At the conclusion of the event, couples leave on their own date at a venue of their choice to talk about the evening and how it relates to their own relationships.

Eucharistic Adoration - Aug 5 |
Scheduled Adorers are needed for First Friday Eucharistic Adoration with Exposition. If you are able to commit one hour to Jesus in the Eucharist please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. We would like to have at least three Scheduled Adorers for each time slot. Of course you do not have to be a Scheduled Adorer to participate in First Friday Eucharistic Adoration with Exposition. All are welcome for a few minutes or a few hours. All you have to do is show up! Jesus thirsts for YOU and awaits this special time together.

Family First Summer Opportunities |
Summer Playground Meetups
Join us this summer for St. Brigid playground meetups! We will meet Wednesdays at 9:30 am at various locations around Dublin (see sign up genius below). All ages are welcome to join (even the older kiddos now that they’re home)! If weather conditions are not in our favor we will skip and catch you the following week! Children’s Liturgy
Great news! Children's Liturgy is going to continue during the 9 am Mass throughout the summer, but we still need a few more volunteers! If you have ever been interested in participating with Children’s Liturgy, now is your chance! Nervous because you have never helped before? No problem, join us in the basement one weekend to see what Children’s Liturgy is all about or ask one of the helpers, they’ll be happy to answer any questions! All Volunteers are required to be compliant in accordance with Safe Environment Policies. If you have questions regarding this ministry, please contact the Religious Education Office 614-761-1176.
