Dear Parents,
Thank you for participating in our first virtual Parent Administration Day! Please see the directions below if you still need to access your “back to school” forms and access to your student’s class assignment. Meet The Teacher will take place on Thursday via video. We will be emailing parents a link to all Meet the Teacher videos to show to your children at your family's convenience.
Our Task Force would like to offer an opportunity for you to bring your own lunch and “Meet The Task Force”. They will be happy to answer any last minute questions that have not already been addressed. In order to run the meeting efficiently with a potentially large group, please submit questions to Jill Carfagna at mrs.carfagna@stbrigid-school.org by Friday 9:00 am so that we may ensure that we address these during the virtual meeting. Below is the Zoom meeting link that you will need for the Friday meeting. It can also be found on our website calendar.

Air Purifiers Purchased - Thank You Donors!
|
We would like to thank the generous families that donated to provide 27 large unit air purifiers that clean 840 SF of air every 30 minutes, and 12 smaller units that clean 500 SF every 30 minutes. These units are medical grade HEPA-13, which clean air much better than regular HEPA filters. These families’ support allows us to provide the highest level of protection for our children as they return to school. We are committed to providing the safest environment for our students -- their health is our top priority. Thank you for your commitment to our children.

Task Force Reopening Update - Aug 25
|
Below is information from the August 25th email update. All previous school updates can be found on the St. Brigid School Page. Click Here.
Dear Parents,
We are quickly approaching the first week of the new school year! Today our teachers and support staff are attending a 3 hour training with Sarah Buffie on the topic of trauma informed care. The focus of this training is to help our teachers and staff better understand how trauma affects the brain and body and teach effective approaches for developing resilience in our children. We feel strongly that we want our teachers and staff to be well prepared to help support our children emotionally and socially as they return to school both physically and digitally.
Yesterday we sent out an email from Digital Academy asking parents to establish an account, access the “back to school” forms and student’s pod placements. If you did not receive this email, please contact Megan Wachalec at mrs.wachalec@stbrigid-school.org
I do have one change to announce to our teaching staff. Mrs. Hardin will have an 8th grade pod this year and Mrs. Maschari will have a 7th grade pod. This change is now reflected on the updated pod maps that are located on the website.
On Friday at noon we are going to host a virtual Lunch and Meet…..”Meet the Task Force”. While we are hoping that the Family Guidebook will have the answers to most of your questions, we know you may still have some last minute questions. The Zoom meeting link will be available in the Wolfhound Wednesday and on the Reopening Safely tab on our website. The Family Guidebook can also be found on our website under the Reopening Safely tab.
In closing, I would like to share with you my video message as we begin our final preparations for the new school year.
Please continue to pray for our school community and for each other.
Thank you,
Kathy O’Reilly
