Dear Parents,

Christmas break is fast approaching and I have several updates for the remainder of this week:
  • Lunch Menu change for Thursday due to CARE Family lunch meeting - Sack lunch including Turkey sandwich, chips, apple slices, carrots and an oreo cookie.  
  • There will be no salad bar available on Thursday and Friday.
  • Students may dress down on Thursday - suggested to wear Christmas colors, Christmas sweaters, etc.
  • There will NOT be a 9:00 am school Mass on Thursday
  • Advent Prayer Service at 12:45 pm on Friday in the Gym.  All are invited.
  • Early Release on Friday at 1:30 pm
  • School resumes Monday, January 7th at 8:00 am

After-School Study Tables
Sign Up for Jan 8 - May 23

Sign ups are now available for 2019 After-School Study Tables. 

Through the support of our SPiCE program, Saint Brigid of Kildare School is able to offer a study tables program for students in grades 5-8. The focus of these study tables will be for students to work on executive functioning skills such as organization, time management, and study strategies, as well as giving children time to receive support with homework.

Jan - March Preschool Wolfhound Adventures

Registration for the January, February, and March Wolfhound Adventures classes is open! 

Wolfhound  Adventures are fun classes open to any preschool-aged child (3-5 years old). You do not have to be enrolled at St. Brigid Preschool to attend.  Parents are welcome to drop children off or stay for the activity.

Men's Cornerstone Retreat

The Men's Cornerstone Retreat has grown over the last 8 years. Cornerstone X is for Men of St. Brigid who feel called to ignite, grow or renew their spiritual faith. The Cornerstone Retreat, with the theme "Mission Possible-Take the Next Step" will start at 5pm on Friday, January 25th, and will end on Sunday, January 27th by 12 noon. The Retreat is being held at the St. Therese Retreat Center in Columbus, OH. The facility and food are incredible with every participant getting his own room. The Retreat is organized, planned and executed by the men of our parish. No matter where you are on your faith journey you will be comfortable and find the content and activities engaging. Come and develop a relationship with 50 other men in our parish through fellowship.
