The O'Reilly Minute

Dear Parents,

Today we will attend Ash Wednesday Mass as a school community (there will be no school Mass on Thursday) as we prepare our hearts for the liturgical season of Lent.

I would also like to personally invite you to join us for an evening with Dr. Benjamin Fields, a respected expert in child behavior and family support. This special opportunity is part of our Rooted in Respect program. Dr. Fields has already worked with our faculty and staff and was very well received for his practical, easy-to-implement strategies for supporting children in today’s complex world. Whether you are navigating morning routines, homework challenges, sibling conflicts, or simply hoping to strengthen communication with your child, Dr. Fields’ insights will help your family thrive.

I feel strongly about our school community coming together to reflect on the importance of building healthy habits, consistent routines, and strong relationships that help every child flourish. To encourage your participation, each child in your family will receive a dress-down day pass to use on a day of his or her choice if you attend. Please join us and RSVP using the link below.

If you are planning to attend the SPICE Corks for a Cause Wine Tasting & Silent Auction on Sunday, March 7, FORELove in Powell is hosting a special shopping event tomorrow and will donate 10% of all purchases to SPICE. It’s a wonderful opportunity to find something for our Masters-themed event (see details below) while supporting our program.

May the Blessings of St. Brigid be with you,

Kathy O’Reilly

Principal Search - Needs Assessment Survey

The process to find the next outstanding leader of St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic School has recently begun. A search committee composed of members of the parish and school community has been formed. However, the process cannot begin until this committee hears the input of the members of our parish and school community. Please plan to take a few minutes to complete a short survey that will allow the committee to conduct a needs assessment to determine the most meaningful and productive principal candidate profile and interview questions that will shape this process.

This survey will close February 25, 2026.

Show Your Love for St. Brigid School by Supporting the Annual Fund!

Last week, our school celebrated Valentine’s Day with food, fun, and creative crafts. The smiles and special memories your children enjoyed were made possible through support of the Annual Fund.

Hosting classroom celebrations is just one of the many ways the Home and School Association uses Annual Fund dollars throughout the year. Your generosity helps provide school events, enrichment activities, special projects, and meaningful experiences that enhance your child’s education.

We invite each family to consider a once-a-year contribution of $125 per student ($50 for

preschool). Most importantly, 100% of every dollar raised goes directly back to school projects and activities that enrich the learning experience for our students. Our goal is 100% participation from all families. Every gift matters, and no amount is too small.

Your support demonstrates a shared commitment to our children and our school community.

Please join the families listed below in supporting this important program.

Click the button below to make your gift to the Annual Fund today. You are also welcome to forward this email to a family member or friend who may be interested in contributing.

Thank you to the many families who have already given so generously. Your support truly makes a difference.
