Looking for OSU Tailgate Space for Alumni Gathering
We are in the midst of planning a Wolfhounds alumni event for all Saint Brigid of Kildare School graduates age 21 and up.
The gathering will be a tailgate on OSU's campus on September 21 for the OSU vs. Miami home football game.
We are looking for someone who has an OSU parking pass (to be used as a tailgate spot) that he/she would be willing to donate for this game.

SPICE "Get Moving" Summer Fitness
The "Get Moving" SPiCE fitness program is returning this summer to help children get moving and into shape!
The summer fitness program will look different this year. Students can participate in two different sessions. One session will take place from June 11th-27th meeting twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8.
The second session will take place from July 16th-August 1st meeting twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-10:30.
Sign ups for each session will take place two weeks before the start of each session.
All incoming 1st-4th grade students in St. Brigid School and parish are welcome to participate. The program will be especially sensitive to kids with special needs.

Become A New Family Mentor
Home and School is currently looking for parents to sign up to be on the New Family Welcome committee. This entails being a mentor to a new family for the next school year. Mentor families will attend the new family welcome breakfast on Sunday, August 18, and also need to be available to check in with their new family monthly and be available to answer any questions and assist with their transition. Mentors will be paired up with new families with children in the same grades.

Summer tutoring is available from many Saint Brigid of Kildare staff members. Staff can be contacted via email or by calling the school office and leaving a message.

Wolfhounds Baseball Recap
The St. Brigid Wolfhound Baseball & Softball program recently concluded it's 2019 Season!
Some of the highlight included:
- SIX dedicated St. Brigid Boys Baseball & Girls Softball Teams, this was the most teams for a diocesan program, again, for many years running!
- Over 70 boys & girls participated on our dedicated wolfhound and multi-parish teams
- A lot of fun and lifetime memories were had, on the best baseball & softball field in the entire Diocese
- THREE of the Wolfhound 2019 teams earned regular season CHAMPIONSHIPS!
- Another of the teams got a Tournament CHAMPIONSHIP and yet another team earned a tournament RUNNER UP!
- This year's Boys Varsity team concluded the most successful baseball class career in the over 2 decades of Wolfhound Baseball. The boys won both the 2019 regular season championship and the 2019 end of year diocesan tournament championship. This group's career included three regular season championships, three tournament championships, and a tournament runner-up! SBAA Fall Sports Registrations
The St. Brigid Athletic Association is excited to open up registration for the fall athletic activities. The below activities are based on your child's grade level in the fall, and all activities are open up to any registered student of St. Brigid School, St. Brigid Religious Education, or child of registered parishioner.
Registration started on Thursday, May 9th at 7:00 AM and will run through the end of the summer - see specific end dates on each sport.
Football
- Tackle Football : 5th - 8th grade boys - season starts with practices 1st week of August and runs through end of October. Costs : $160
- Flag Football : 4th grade boys - season starts with practices in August and runs through end of October. Costs : $160
- Summer Mini-Camps : 4th - 8th grade boys - Saturday mornings during the summer. Costs : Free (must register online)
- Lil' Hounds : 2nd & 3rd grade boys - 6 weeks of football fundamentals - September & October. Costs : $75
