Corks for a Cause – Thank You!
Thank you for your generous support of the Corks for a Cause Red Carpet event, which raises essential funding for our SPICE (Special People In Catholic Education) program. The generosity of our community enables us to provide the necessary resources to support the diverse learning needs of our students.
Our Saint Brigid community takes great pride in being a Catholic school that values every student as a child of God, recognizing their unique spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, cultural, and emotional needs.
Spring Break & Social Media Awareness
As spring break approaches, we look forward to a time of rest and renewal. This break also provides additional time for students to engage with social media and technology. While these tools offer incredible opportunities, they also come with responsibilities.
Last year, our guest speaker Jesse Weinberger highlighted the importance of online safety, and we encourage parents to stay informed. Common Sense Media offers excellent resources on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. You can explore their articles here: Common Sense Media: Parenting, Media, and Everything in Between

The deadline to apply for tuition assistance for the 2025-26 school year is March 15—which falls during spring break. We have additional funds available this year, so we strongly encourage any families in need of assistance to apply.
For full instructions on how to apply through FACTS, please see the details below.
To renew or apply for an EdChoice scholarship for 2025-26, visit: EdChoice Scholarship Information
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in our school community.
Lenten Blessings,

Jubilee Prayer
Father in heaven,
may the faith you have given us in your son,
Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of
charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy
Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope
for the coming of your Kingdom.
May your grace transform us into tireless
cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel.
May those seeds transform from within
both humanity and the whole cosmos in
the sure expectation of a new heaven and
a new earth, when, with the powers of Evil
vanquished, your glory will shine eternally.
May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken
in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the
treasures of heaven.
May that same grace spread the joy
and peace of our Redeemer throughout
the earth.
To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory
and praise for ever.
Amen

Jubilee Year Resources
Pope Francis has declared 2025 a Jubilee Year, or Year of Grace, in the Catholic Church. The theme of the Jubilee is "Pilgrims of Hope."
What's a Jubilee Year?
- A Jubilee Year is a time for prayer, forgiveness, reconciliation, and pilgrimage.
- The Jubilee Year is a special opportunity to receive the plenary indulgence, which means the forgiveness of sins.
In order to celebrate the Jubilee here at St. Brigid of Kildare, we are sending home a family challenge. Throughout this year, we challenge families to visit various Jubilee pilgrimage sites in Ohio. The brochure being sent home includes a link to various sites in Ohio, as well as raffle tickets for your children to turn in after visiting a pilgrimage site for the chance to win various Catholic treasures.

Eternal Rest - The Art of Dying Well
We all have very real questions about death. What happens when we die? What does Scripture teach about death? How do we prepare for the life to come? Explore the mystery of death, dying, and everlasting life through Eternal Rest, a new offering of the Augustine Institute.
Eternal Rest examines the origin of death, the afterlife, and the powerful reality around the sacrament that ushers us into eternal life. Eternal Rest presents the Catholic Church’s teaching about death and God’s response to it with wisdom and truth, gentleness and compassion, so we can think about and prepare for death in the light of Jesus Christ, the Author of life.
Wednesdays March 5, 19, April 2 and 9 at 7 PM OR
Thursdays March 6, 20, April 3 and 10 at 10:30 AM

This four-week series makes a step-by-step examination of the Rite of Confession and communicates God's invitation to each one of us to come experience his indescribable love this Lent. Through Christ's suffering on the cross in the Paschal Mystery and his perpetual reception of his people in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, God makes his love, his very self, present to us in the world.
