Dear Parents,

Wolfhound Field Day 2019 takes place tomorrow and the theme is sunscreen and hydration since we have recently been blessed with sunny weather!  Please make sure that you apply sunscreen to your children and pack a water bottle before they leave home in the morning. The students have really been looking forward to this May tradition which is only possible due to the generosity of our donors to the Annual Fund and to the many volunteers helping out with the event.  A heartfelt thank you to Molly Seago and Natalie Baur, our parent chairs, and to Jill Cecutti and Courtney Kreber, our school staff chairs. Also a special thank you to Joyce Brown, the cafeteria staff and parent volunteers for serving our delicious Wolfhound picnic lunch.

A few reminders of the schedule this week:
  • Following Wolfhound Field Day will be early release at 1:30 PM!
  • There will NOT be school Mass on Thursday.
  • May Crowning will take place on Friday at 9:00 AM.
  • If you haven't already done so, please turn in your FACTS contract to the school office.
Spring blessings,
Kathy O'Reilly

Visit from Rep Liston and Senator Kunze

On Monday we had a visit from Representative Liston and Senator Kunze!  Eighth-grade students Callie Kasun and Owen Samenuk gave them a tour of our school and showed them how we use our state funding. State funding includes our auxiliary service funds, Peterson funds, transportation funds, and administrative cost reimbursement.  These funds cover many learning materials and technology in the science lab, makerspace, computer lab and library.

Thanks to our School Advisory Council chairs Kelly Barr, Ann Sage, and Karen Steinbrunner who helped show them around and discuss the many exciting things we have going on at Saint Brigid of Kildare School!

Congrats Serra Club Award Winners

On Sunday, May 12, four of our Saint Brigid of Kildare eighth grade students were presented the Serra Club Altar Server Award for their dedication and time spent serving during Mass.

Congratulations to Evan Sage, Bobby McMillen, Olivia Day, and Clayton Hanson (pictured left to right with Monsignor Hendricks).

May they continue to serve the Church and inspire those around them with their dedication to their faith.
Wellness CARE Meeting

Our CARE meeting last week summarized the many aspects of WELLNESS highlighted throughout this school year.
