Dear Parents,

As Thanksgiving approaches, we look forward to coming together as a school family for Mass on Tuesday, November 25th, at 1:30 p.m. to praise the Lord and give thanks for our many blessings. We invite you to join us if your schedule allows.

Before Mass, students will enjoy our annual Thanksgiving Feast during their regular lunch periods. This cherished tradition is made even more special by our 8th-grade students, who will serve the delicious turkey meal—creating a joyful and memorable experience for both our older and younger students.

We are grateful for the school and parish families who have already redirected their tax dollars to support the Emmaus Road Scholarship fund. These dollars provide need-based assistance to families in our community and have already made a meaningful difference for many families. Please see the information below and consider making a donation. We encourage you to share this opportunity with family, friends, and neighbors—it is a simple yet impactful way to support our school while receiving a tax credit.

In this season of gratitude, I am especially thankful for our SPICE program, which helps us raise awareness about learning differences and support the individual needs of children in our school and parish. This month, our students are learning about epilepsy and seizure disorders and will participate in a purple dress-down day on November 21st to help raise awareness.

New Student Application Open for 2026-27

The application for new students for the 2026-27 school year opened on Friday, November 14. The on-time deadline for new families to apply is Friday, January 23, 2026 at midnight.

We will again use FACTS for re-enrollment for current students, which will take place January 9-16, 2026 and will include the Wolfhound Clubhouse (latchkey) application. Please note there is a $10 re-enrollment fee per child.

If you have a new student applying to the school, please complete the new student application found here. If you have a currently enrolled St. Brigid preschool student wishing to move on to Kindergarten, you will fill out a re-enrollment packet beginning January 9th. Preschool students whose families are active, registered parishioners are guaranteed enrollment for kindergarten. As a reminder, you will be notified via email of acceptance/wait list status beginning or shortly after Friday, January 30, 2026.

You will receive more details about re-enrollment in the new year. 

Wolfhounds Football Teams Celebrate a Great Season

On Friday, November 8, our football Wolfhounds gathered to celebrate a successful football season with our 5/6th and 7/8th grade teams. The banquet highlighted the hard work and dedication from our athletes this season, both on and off the field.

The teams were especially grateful to have Deacon Paul join them to offer a special blessing over the athletes, coaches, and families.

Thank you to all who helped make the evening memorable, and to everyone who supported Wolfhound football throughout the season.

Emmaus Road Scholarship - Tax Credit

Receive a tax credit on your Ohio taxes while helping a family receive a Catholic education. Through the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund, Ohio taxpayers may donate to a K-12 Catholic school to be used for tuition scholarships based on financial need. The donor then receives a dollar-for-dollar non-refundable tax credit on their Ohio state tax return up to $750 ($1,500 if married and filing jointly). 

This program helps make Catholic education accessible and affordable while giving donors the power to put their tax dollars to work to lead children to an encounter with Christ.

You will receive a mailed receipt from the Emmaus Road Scholarship Fund. Keep that receipt and submit when filing your 2025 Ohio taxes.

After-School Study Tables - Grades 5-8

Second Trimester Sign Up

Begins Monday, November 17

Mondays & Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:00 PM

Pickup @ 4:00 PM - Out Front

The purpose of the program is to provide students with an opportunity to work on their school assignments in a quiet, respectful and supportive study environment. This is not intended to be a tutoring program. However, students will receive help with homework, build study skills and learn to plan and manage their time. If a student is not able to work quietly and productively, he/she will not be allowed to attend study tables in the future. 

After each Study Table, students will be escorted to the front of the building for pick up promptly at 4:00. Please be on time to pick up your child.

Corks for a Cause 2026

Save the date for March 7, 2026!

We are excited to hold our 19th annual Corks for a Cause Silent Auction and Wine Tasting for SPiCE on Saturday, March 7, 2025.

Giving Tree Returns

The Giving Tree Project has been a parish tradition and demonstration of generosity for many years. Last year, over 1000 gifts and $13,000 in donations were provided by your generosity, making a significant difference in the lives of others.

This year, our parish will be collecting for the following organizations: Bishop Griffin Resource Center, Gladden Community House, Heinzerling Community, Kentucky Mission, St. Stephen’s Community House, St. Brigid Emergency Fund, and Catholic Social Services.

How you can participate:

• Select an ornament from the trees set up in the church which began on Saturday, Nov 15 and Sunday, Nov 16.

Thinking About Becoming Catholic?

The OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults, formerly known as RCIA) provides an opportunity for adults who are seeking full communion with the Church to learn about the Catholic faith.

If you are thinking about becoming Catholic, or were baptized Catholic but were never Confirmed, please join us.

Classes meet Tuesday evenings 7:00-8:30 pm from October through the Easter Vigil Mass in Hendricks Hall.
