Student Pick-Up Directions
Want picking up your child for an appointment or early dismissal to be easier and FASTER?!
-
Send a note with your child excusing them at the time needed. Make sure to include their name, reason for leaving early, your phone number, and a signature. Have them take it to the STUDENT OFFICE BEFORE SCHOOL. They'll get a green “Temporary Dismissal” slip and they'll be good to go at the time needed. You can stay comfy in your car waiting out front!
-
Please note: if you call to report this on our attendance line, it may not get recorded until after the time you want to pick them up as we process these in the order they are received. For this reason, a note can be the best way for an easy early dismissal!!!
-
Forgot to send a note? Last minute change and need to come into the office to get them? Check these things and come in 10 minutes earlier than you would normally need to if any apply:
-
Do we have a con (school assembly) that day? - ask your kiddo or check our school calendar!
-
Is your child in PE during the time you will be coming?
-
Is your child at lunch when you will be picking up?
These simple things can make your busy day easier and help assure you are on time for those appointments!

Get to Know Your ASB Officers!
North Central High School's Associated Student Body (ASB) officers are the governing body of North Central High School and the voice of the students. They are responsible for many convocations, fundraisers, morning announcements, and a variety of events at NC. Once a month, they have a General ASB meeting where representatives from each class, club, and committee come and voice any concerns or general opinions. Our ASB officers' main goal, and driving force behind all they do, is to be sure each student feels included and has a sense of belonging at NC!

Washington Mental Health Referral Service for Children and Teens
Our program connects children, teens, and families with evidence-supported outpatient mental health services in their community. This free, telephone-based referral service is funded by Washington Healthcare Authority and operated by Seattle Children’s. The Mental Health Referral Service will provide thorough mental health referrals for children and teens 17 and younger from across Washington.
How does it work? Families can call 833-303-5437 or submit an online request form. We will schedule a telephone intake with a Family Advocate Case Manager, who will ask for the patient’s information, including their mental health needs, location, and health insurance plan. After provider matches are found, the Case Manager will call and email the family to access providers or agencies in real-time. The same Case Manager will follow up with the family after a few weeks to ensure an appointment was made, provide any additional resources, and discuss any barriers there may have been. More information about our program, including FAQs, can be found on our website: PAL and WA Mental Health Referral Service for Children and Teens (seattlechildrens.org)
