The purpose of the SAG is to provide another feedback to the administration regarding the student experince. Tell Them We Are Rising - Free Screening Event
Oct. 4, Spokane Community College we will be hosting a screening of Tell Them We are Rising, a documentary about the history, importance, and relevance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This event is hosted by Spokane Community College's Black Student Union and will run from 12pm - 2pm and include a panel and Q & A. We have the capacity to take up to 23 students from NC. This year, NCHS will be starting a new prevention program called HOPE Squad! This program is a peer-to-peer suicide prevention program. HOPE Squad members are part of our Servant Leadership class and NC Wellness Club. They are trustworthy peers who will be trained by advisor to assist other students/friends/peers. The program reduces youth suicide through education, training and peer intervention. For more information, check out this link.

Joya Penny Drive
It’s that time of year again! The Joya penny drive is coming up and will run from September 25-October 6. We will be collecting from 6th period and this will be worth class points, so bring in those coins to get those class points and support Joya!

Pumpkins Needed For IST Advisory
IST parents, we are looking for 30 large pumpkins for a pumpkin decorating contest we plan to have in advisory. If you can donate a pumpkin, please send it in with your child by Friday, October 27th. Deliver to public office.
