See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

Chaplain's Corner

This week in Chapel we continued our walk through the Book of I John. For the next several weeks, we will be answering the following key question: “What does genuine faith look like?”

As you and your family go about life this week, consider the following questions for conversation:

Read through I John 2:28-3:1

  • “Why do you think that many Christians feel ‘stuck’ in their relationship with God?”

  • “What is the difference between abiding in Christ for my life and involving Christ in my life?”

  • “How is abiding in Christ actually following Jesus? How is involving Jesus in my life actually asking Jesus to follow us? Which one (abiding or involving) will lead to actual spiritual growth and change?"

  • “What are some specific examples of how you have involved Jesus in your life? How would those situations have turned out differently if you had abode in Jesus?

  • “How does it change your perspective of God to know that He is a loving Heavenly Father?”

  • “How does it change your perspective of yourself to know that you are a son/daughter of God?”

  • “How can I pray for you?”

Thank you so much for continuing in your homes the conversations that we have in our Chapels!

So glad to be partnering together with you!
