By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.

In Chapel this week, I spoke from John 15. In this chapter, Jesus gives us the main principle behind living the life that He created us to live…we must abide in Him.

As you and your family go about life this week, consider the following questions in your family:

Read through John 15:1-17.

  • “What are some areas of your life that you think you will always experience stress?”

  • “What is the difference between eliminating stresses in your life and overcoming stresses in your life?”

  • “What does it mean that Jesus Christ is the source of a truly fruitful and lasting life?”

  • “How does praying and reading the Bible help me to ‘abide’ in Christ?”

  • “What if God is using some of the stresses in your life as an opportunity for you to become more dependent on Him?”

  • “What if instead of changing the things that bring about stress in your life, God desires most to change you in the middle of those stresses?”

  • “How can I pray for you?”

Please know that we are praying for you as God continues His work in and through your family!
