Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

Chaplain's Corner
This past week in Chapel, we continued on through the Book of Mark…landing on Mark 5:21-43.

As you are in your homes, in your cars, and around the table this upcoming week, read the following passage and discuss the following questions:

[READ MARK 5:21-43]

  • “Why do you think most of the people in the crowds followed Jesus?”

  • “After reading Mark 5:21-43, how would you describe Jairus?”

  • “After reading Mark 5:21-43, how would you describe the woman with the medical condition?”

  • “What is the difference between desire and desperation (what is different about a person that simply desires to see God do the miraculous vs. a person that is absolutely desperate for God to do the miraculous in their life)?”

  • “What are some things that keep us from becoming desperate for God? After identifying those things in your life, what is your next step in freeing yourself from things in order that you might become desperate for God?”

  • “How can I pray for you?”
