But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control;
against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:22 - 23

PACS Families,
Around this time of the year, most every high school selects a Homecoming Court…but one of the ways that PACS is distinctly different is the criteria by which our Homecoming Court is nominated and selected.
Our process is not based on appearance (although there is certainly nothing wrong with physical beauty), ability (although there’s certainly nothing wrong with talent) or popularity (although there’s certainly nothing wrong with being well-like). Our nomination and selection of Homecoming Court is on the basis of students recognizing and acknowledging the “Fruit of the Spirit” (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control…Galatians 5:22-23) as being evident in the lives of their classmates.
With that said, we are so very happy to be represented by:
9th Grade:
Magill Bahnsen, Will Elrod
10th Grade:
Erin Eley and Olivia Shiver, Tate Jernigan
11th Grade:
Allie Carter, Hamilton Culpepper
12th Grade:
Delaney Cook, Mandi Csuka, Abby Davis, Molly Howard, Lilly Renn, John Morgan, Thomas Ross, Boone Seay, Mack Simmons, Will Todd
[READ Galatians 5:16-24]
The following are two questions that would be great conversations within your family:
- What does it mean to be led by our sinful nature? What does it mean to be led by the Holy Spirit of God?
- Do you think that it is possible to have the “fruit of the Spirit” in your life if your life is not following the Holy Spirit? Why or why not?
Please let us know if there are any additional ways that we may be able to serve you and serve alongside you!
