Then Moses said to God, “If I come to the people of Israel and
say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’
and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ what shall I say to them?”

God said to Moses, “I am who I am.”
And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel:
‘I am has sent me to you.’”

Exodus 3:13-14

PACS Families,

This past week, we were so honored to be able to host Mrs. Whitney Capps. As a national speaker (with Proverbs 31 Ministries), author (writer/contributor for the “First 5” Devotion on the Bible App as well as a book that is set to be released later in the year in addition to a Video Bible Study coordinated through LifeWay that will hit their shelves around the same time), wife, and mom (she and her husband Chad have 4 boys that are all new to PACS this year), we were truly fortunate to have her share with our middle and high school students in Chapel.

Launching out of Exodus 3, Whitney dismantled the myth: “You can be anything that you want to be.” By walking our students through the life and calling of Moses, she reminded us that God has a will and a plan for every single one of our lives, and we will be what He desires us to be.

[READ Exodus 3:1-14]

The following are two questions that would be great conversations within your family:

  • When you were a little kid, what were some things that you wanted to be when you grew up? What are some things that caused you to want to be that?

  • Why is it important to know that God has a will for every single one of our lives, and we will be (and only can be) what His will desires us to be?

Please let us know if there are any additional ways that we may be able to serve you and serve alongside you!
