Giving is a Wolverine Tradition at Prince Avenue Christian School. We are grateful for the support of families, grandparents, alumni and friends each year.
Spectacular Night!  If you missed the Wolverines Unleashed Family Fun Carnival, you missed an incredible evening. 500 plus students and their families attended the carnival.  WOW!  Families gathered to enjoy carnival food, face painting, sliding, climbing, jumping and catching up with friends. I am excited to report that more than 50% of our families have already participated in the 2016-2017 Annual Fund. The Wolverines Unleashed Family Fun Carnival received $73,250 in total contributions for the event.

Thank you so much for your overwhelming response! Remember...The Annual Fund is an extremely important part of the operating budget. The Annual Fund raises the amount of money that bridges the gap between what parents pay in tuition and the actual cost of educating your student at Prince Avenue Christian School.

If you were unable to attend the carnival, we encourage you to participate in the Annual Fund by clicking the button below.  Please donate today!

Senior Mission Trip

Dear Class of 2017 and your families:

Let me be among the first to congratulate you on beginning your final chapter of high school at Prince Avenue Christian School! I know that just as God has guided your steps to this point, He still has so much in store for you over the course of your senior year. My prayer for each one of you, specifically over the next 9 months, is that God will grow you and strengthen you. Spiritual growth and strength, however, come as the result of our intentional submission to God and allowing Him to stretch us beyond our normal comfort zones. One such opportunity for spiritual growth and strengthening is our international senior mission trip.

From February 25-March 4, we will be serving the people and needs of Guaimaca, Honduras. While in Honduras, we will have the opportunity to teach English in schools, present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in very practical ways, and experience the beauty and diversity of this Latin American country. Without a doubt, this is absolutely a life-changing and perspective-changing trip that will impact you for the rest of your life.

The total cost for this trip is $2,000. This fee includes airfare, food and lodging in Honduras. To assist our PACS families, the $2,000 amount will be billed in four monthly installments of $500 each beginning on October 1st. All billing will be processed through FACTS. Additionally, the business office will accept donations from friends and family made on your behalf.  You can pick up donation forms in business office of the school).

Over the next few weeks, I encourage you to pray and seek guidance as to how God would use you in Honduras in February.

Please plan to attend our international mission trip informational meeting for seniors and parents on Monday, September 12 at 7:30pm in the PACS cafeteria.

I look forward to serving with you in Honduras and getting to know each of you better over the next few weeks!

Chaplain's Corner

As parents, one of the many issues that we stress over in regards to our kids is the question: “Who has influence in my kid’s life?”.  We know that the right influences can greatly steer our kids in the right direction, but we also acknowledge that the wrong influences can guide our kids into making poor choices. Every family represented in our school has come to this realization…and, in large part, that is why many of you have entrusted PACS with your child. We consider your trust in us both an honor and privilege that we do not take lightly. I sincerely hope that you know that we treasure your student, we treasure your family, and we treasure our relationship with you!

Thankful and excited about the journey ahead,

Ben Wallis
