Eastlake Credo: At Eastlake, through intentional actions, we create an environment where students and staff feel safe, appreciated and loved. This is Eastlake. This is home. This is family.
WSPS
Dear Wolves,

On Wednesday, Dr. Holmen sent a message about the significant increase in harassment and hate-filled speech and behavior directed toward our Asians, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. I have no doubt this is an extremely difficult time for our own students and staff. They may be experiencing harassment themselves. They may be living in significant fear of possible harassment or hate crimes. They may have family members or businesses that are at risk.

Eastlake High School stands in solidarity with our Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander students and staff and stands against racism in all forms.

We remain committed to ensuring a safe learning environment for all students. As a reminder, it takes a community to make this happen, and when we see something, we need to say something. We also need to also reach out when we need help. Please contact your Eastlake Counselor if you need additional support.

We need to stay resolute in our efforts to actualize our value of “Justice through equity and inclusion of diverse lived experiences.”
Here is a resource to extend the conversation

Here are additional resources for supporting our Asian and Asian American community.
