ROAD CLOSURES THIS SUMMER
Road work began on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the intersection of State Highway 120 and Bloomfield Road. A four-way stoplight will be installed at the busy intersection. The road work will result in roadway closings that will affect many families' school and summer activities commutes. Please review the details below including the map for specifics. The driveways for Lake Geneva Middle School will be open.

We apologize for the inconvenience; however, we know in the long term this new stoplight will make for a safer intersection for our students, families and the Lake Geneva community.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
---------
The City of Lake Geneva anticipates that the schedule of traffic shifts and roadway openings and closings for each stage shall be as follows:

Stage 1 | May 25 - July 1, 2022
Close Bloomfield Road west of STH 120 (access will still be available to LGMS and Immanuel Lutheran from Wells Street/CTH onto Bloomfield Rd.) See attached map.
Close the STH 120 northbound left-turn lane
Close one STH 120 southbound lane at a time

Stage 2 | July 5 - August 26, 2022

Open the STH 120 northbound left-turn lane
Close Bloomfield Road east of STH 120
Close the STH 120 southbound left-turn lane
Close one STH 120 northbound lane at a time
After the traffic signals are fully operational and accepted by the department, open Bloomfield
Road and STH 120 to all lanes of traffic in each direction.

MENUS AND FOOD SERVICE INFORMATION
Dear Lake Geneva Schools Families,

Lake Geneva Food Service is participating in the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) Seamless Summer Option (SSO) for the entirety of the 2021-22 school year. This means that our schools provide free meals to all students! This program provides additional support and flexibility for our district to continue serving meals to children while maintaining safety measures and managing the impacts of the COVI D-19 pandemic.

Included in the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are nationwide supply chain and product availability shortages. Disruptions are due to a lack of availability of raw ingredients and labor to produce, unload, and transfer food products. Some food and/or beverage products normally provided to students may not be available or arrive as scheduled. Due to unforeseen circumstances, last-minute menu changes and product substitutions may occur. Be assured meals will remain balanced, healthy, and plentiful. We ask for patience and understanding as we do our best to meet the needs of your children.

Please contact me with any questions at 262-348-1015 or email me at jaclyn.sanders@badger.k12.wi.us

Sincerely,
Jaclyn Sanders
Food Service Coordinator
