6th and 7th Grade Last Day of School Friday, June 2, 2023.

Enjoy your summer!

Mark Your Calendars--FUTURE DATES

LGMS will host one registration day on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On that day, parents and students may stop in the LGMS cafeteria to pick up your student’s schedule (if you are not able to print it at home), pay registration fees, purchase locks, and have their yearbook photo taken.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 29th. LGMS will have their Open House from 4:00-7:00pm. This is a great time to meet your teachers, bring your school supplies and get your locker set up. Just remember if you can't make it this night, students & parents can come in on Wednesday, August 30th between 8:00am and 2:00pm to put things in their lockers. No one will be able to enter the building before August 29th.

Good Luck and Thank You For

Your Years Of Service!

We are saying goodbye to some of our staff this year. Mr. Strobel is moving over to Eastview Elementary to be the new Principal. Mr. Granger is going to be teaching in Waukesha. Staff retiring this year are Mary Krien and Lynn Clemen. We wish them all the best!

8th Grade Picnic

This past Tuesday, LGMS 8th Graders attended their end-of-the-year picnic at Big Foot State Park. 8th Graders enjoyed many outdoor activities including laser tag and fishing and a delicious lunch provided by Magpies in Lake Geneva! They were very generous and donated a nice lunch with added items provided by our families. Thank you to our PTO and the many volunteers who helped to make this a memorable experience for our 8th graders!

7th Grade Lake Walk and Boat Ride

On Tuesday the 7th graders went on a lake walk from Williams Bay to Lake Geneva and then on to a boat ride on Geneva Lake!

Important: Student Attendance and
New Attendance Procedures
School attendance is very important, and we encourage families to make sure their children are in school as much as possible. However, children who are sick need to stay home for their well-being and to prevent others from becoming sick. Click the link to review the Lake Geneva Schools Protocols for When to Keep Your Child Home From School: https://bit.ly/3Bl6Gl9

Students need to be to school by 7:20am and are to be in their homerooms by the time the bell rings at 7:30am.
Student Attendance and Attendance Procedures
One of the biggest ways parents/guardians can help their child succeed this school year is to make sure their child gets to school, on time, each and every day. The evidence is clear: children with good attendance are more likely to be successful in school. High attendance rates are linked to high student achievement. Every day counts, and missing school even 10% of the time has a significant negative impact on reading and math achievement as children progress through school. We want to ask for parent’s/guardian’s commitment to making sure their child attends school every day possible this year.

When a child does have to be absent from school, we ask that you communicate with us about the absence BEFORE 9:00AM. When your child will be absent, you have three communication options:

Call Mrs. Kramp in the main office at 262-348-3040 to speak with her and/or leave a message.
REPORT ABSENCES ON POWERSCHOOL OR A PHONE CALL TO THE SCHOOL BY 9:00AM. THANK YOU!
