LGMS 8th GRADE
PROMOTION CEREMONY
CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES!
THANK YOU PTO AND CHAMPS
FOR A GREAT 8TH GRADE
END OF YEAR PICNIC!
8th grade picnic at Big Foot State Park was a success! It took a whole team of parents, teachers, and our community businesses to make it successful. The PTO wants to thanks everyone who helped, donated, and provided activities and treats. All of the burgers, brats, hot dogs, potato salad, French fries, plates, silverware, napkins, and all the fixings were donated by Champs. We are grateful for their support, especially after a busy holiday weekend! Water, candy, chips, and fruit were provided by parents. Thank you for always donating when asked! Yummy ice cream treats were from Sweet Tooth Ice Cream. A variety of frozen treats were much appreciated on this warm and sunny day! Battlefield Live Wisconsin Laser Tag was a hit with all the kids. Ask your 8th grader how well they played!

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered their time today.

Another thank you to all of the teachers for getting all of the kids organized and ready for today.

Finally, a big shout out to our principals for every meeting, ideas, feedback, and for suggesting a bigger picnic since we couldn’t have the traditional 8th grade dance!

Safety Town is an early childhood safety education program designed for children who are at least 5 years of age and who are entering 5-year-old kindergarten in the Fall. During a 12-hour program (3 hours per day for 4 days), children learn safety behavior under the guidance of certified teachers and qualified professionals such as firefighters and police personnel. Children learn safety lessons through role playing, games, art projects, stories, movies and field trips.
