A lifelong Valley resident, Padilla brings over two decades of experience in community organizing, advocacy, and public service to City Hall. 

Having attended LAUSD public schools, Councilmember Padilla understands firsthand the importance of quality public education and a strong support system for student success. A passionate advocate for youth empowerment, she has served as President of the Valley College Foundation Board and founded the Adelante Latino Youth Summit, an annual conference designed to inspire students through higher education and career readiness workshops.

Now, as a member of the Los Angeles City Council, Padilla remains committed to delivering real solutions for the communities she serves. She prioritizes expanding access to city services, improving neighborhood safety, tackling homelessness, and increasing transparency in local government. Come and meet this rising star!
