Thank you to the 300 business and community leaders who contributed to Ottawa's annual City Building Summit. This week we came together for conversations about a whole of community, multi faceted approach to building up our nation's capital for an inclusive, sustainable and vibrant future. Key topics included downtown transformation, housing, energy transition, young leaders and high impact projects.
"In 1857 the Ottawa Board of Trade was created to protect and advance economic prosperity, industrial opportunity, and quality of life throughout our region. Business and community leaders came together in downtown Ottawa to talk about the challenges of the day. 167 years later, we’re back here in this room with leaders from the private, public, and not-for-profit sector to talk about the priorities of the day. Thank you for being here, this is important and collaborative work,"
- Brendan McGuinty, Chair of the Ottawa Board of Trade
