Women Build is officially underway!

Our annual Women Build event officially kicked off on Friday, April 26th with our Women of Influence Build Day, uniting some of San Diego’s most influential female leaders for one central cause - to address the affordable housing crisis in San Diego by working on our new home construction in Logan Heights. This annual signature fundraising event is only possible because of our generous Women Build sponsors, whose contributions help us provide a space for women to come together in a supportive and empowering environment. Many thanks to The Original Pink Box , Pepsi , San Diego Catering, and Nexus Physical Therapy for making Women Build amazing!

There’s still time to register and fundraise! We have open spots available on Thursday, May 9th and Saturday, May 11th. Join us for an unforgettable day swinging hammers alongside local women working together to address the housing crisis in San Diego!
San Diego Habitat has tithed over $500,000!

Each year, San Diego Habitat for Humanity provides a tithe of unrestricted contributions to Habitat for Humanity International to be used toward international homebuilding efforts. Since our inception in 1988, we have tithed over $500,000 and were presented with an award at the Habitat for Humanity affiliate conference in Atlanta last month. Thanks to the support of our donors, we’ve supported over 128 families around the world, including Cambodia, Lesotho, Mexico, Nepal, Romania, Pakistan, Tanzania, and Thailand.
thank you Las Patronas!

San Diego Habitat for Humanity received a grant from Las Patronas for $33,995, allowing us to purchase a box truck for the ReStore to expand our pick-up and delivery services in San Diego County. Since its inception in 1946, Las Patronas has donated over $20 million to over a thousand charitable institutions in San Diego. Las Patronas is committed to providing financial assistance to nonprofit organizations in San Diego County that provide valuable community services, and to continuing their tradition of service to enhance the quality of life in our community. San Diego Habitat is delighted to partner with Las Patronas to advance the ReStore’s work and our homebuilding mission in San Diego.
