BIRTHRIGHT: A WAR STORY, directed by Civia Tamarkin, e
xamines how women are being jailed, physically violated and even put at risk of dying as a radical movement tightens its grip across America.
The documentary explores the accelerating gains of the crusade to control pregnant women and the fallout that is creating a public health crisis, turning pregnant women into criminals and challenging the constitutional protections of every woman in America.

WMM AROUND THE WORLD

What happens when a child grows up as the only black girl in town? BLACK GIRL IN SUBURBIA, directed by Melissa Lowery, looks at the suburbs of America from the perspective of women of color. Watch the trailer here.
SIBERIAN LOVE follows filmmaker Olga Delane home to her community of birth in Siberia. The film is a fascinating study of a rural community that raises questions about domesticity, gender expectations, domestic abuse, childcare, and romance. Watch the trailer here.
WHAT HAPPENED TO HER, directed by Kristy Guevara-Flanagan, is a forensic exploration of our cultural obsession with images of the dead woman on screen. Interspersing found footage and voice-over narration, the film offers a meditative critique on the trope of the dead female body. Watch the trailer here.
