Women UNITED Volunteer Opportunities
Want to join a group of like-minded women dedicated to creating a world of opportunity -- FOR EVERYONE?
Community Clothes Closet
Our closet allows anyone in the community the ability to access clothing for job interviews and new employment opportunities. We are always in need of volunteers willing to sort, steam and keep the closet in order.
Read Across America & Storytime
Do you like reading, singing and doing crafts? Read Across America  and Storytime are perfect volunteer opportunities for you!

Read Across America will be happening this year on March 2nd, and will provide the opportunity to read to children at their school and celebrate Dr. Suess' Birthday!

Storytime is a monthly volunteer opportunity and is done at the Carnegie Stout Public Library. Storytime is done every 4th Thursday of the month from 6:30-7pm.
Sprout Into Reading & Little Free Libraries
Early literacy is an important aspect of childhood. Our group is passionate about getting the books into the hand of low-income children, and with your help we could do this through two of our programs.

Would your organization or agency like to partner with Women United in order to distribute books to children 0-5 years of age? Along with this program we track the outcomes of how these books improve the families literacy as a whole.

Little Free Libraries have gone up around the area and allow all children to access free books at all times. The motto of Little Free Libraries is "take a book, return a book", as this program encourages children to read and share.  Help us monitor these libraries so we ensure the libraries are being maintained and full of books.
