Welcome to HerVOICE Monthly!

We’re so glad you’re here. This is your space to stay connected, celebrate women veterans, and find updates on advocacy, news, and opportunities across Florida. Together, we’ll keep making sure every woman veteran feels seen, heard, and supported.

About Women Veterans Ignited

Together We Rise: Stronger, Bolder, and Statewide

Fall is here, and Women Veterans Ignited is carrying forward the incredible momentum of the past few months. Our programs are in full swing, our community is growing stronger every day, and exciting opportunities are just around the corner. This season is all about progress—and together, we’re creating spaces where women veterans are empowered, supported, and celebrated, not only in Northeast Florida but throughout the state. Thank you for being such an essential part of this journey as we continue to grow, evolve, and make a lasting impact.

What’s New This Month?

Expanding Our Impact:

Women Veterans Ignited is continuing to widen our reach across Florida. From the Panhandle to South Florida, we’re making sure every woman veteran knows she has a place here. Our programs and services are growing to meet the unique needs of women who served, no matter where you live or what your story looks like.

What’s Ahead:

This fall, we’re rolling out engaging workshops and events designed to connect with and empower women veterans in every area of life. From building professional skills and boosting financial confidence to strengthening mental wellness and deepening community ties, there’s something for everyone. These opportunities are open statewide, both in person and virtually.

Your Voice Matters:

Our new name is only the beginning of this transformation. We’re committed to listening, learning, and staying responsive to what women veterans truly need. Your feedback helps shape the programs and support we provide, because this organization exists for you, and with you. Please complete our Community Needs and Location Survey

The Transition Journey

You may still notice our former name, Northeast Florida Women Veterans, on certain documents and systems while we finalize the legal transition. Rest assured, we’re working through the process and expect full updates to be completed by early 2026. We appreciate your patience and support as we move forward.

Be Part of the Movement

Women Veterans Ignited is more than an organization, we’re a growing movement of women veterans determined to lift one another up. Together, we’re breaking barriers, amplifying voices, and creating spaces where women who served can thrive.

Stay connected, share our updates, and spread the word. We’re here, we’re growing, and we’re just getting started.

With gratitude and determination,

The Women Veterans Ignited Team

Advocacy & News

As you've read in the CEO's Corner: Women Veterans Ignited, Inc. is supported by a grant from the Delores Barr Weaver Legacy Funds.

This generous support ensures that women who have served our country are seen, supported, and celebrated. The new hub will serve as a central resource for programs, services, and community connections, strengthening our mission to uplift and empower women veterans across the state.

We are deeply grateful to The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida and the Delores Barr Weaver Legacy Funds for their partnership in making this milestone possible. Together, we are creating a lasting impact for women veterans and their families.
