Women With Invisible Differences
Women who have experienced the "wounds of difference", growing up without explanation of their challenges, and without validation of their strengths, often hide their difficulties, differences and even their gifts. This keeps them feeling apart, isolated and afraid to risk being seen, known and heard (their greatest desire and also their greatest fear).
Through a combination of a presentation accompanied by colorful visuals, clinical and personal stories to illustrate the material, specially designed introspective and interactive facilitated small and large group sharing experiences, participants take away a much deeper appreciation of the messages that ALL women need to unlearn. A focus will be on how these gender expectations impact women with the strengths and struggles of ADHD and LD.
