Gambian Women Fight and WIN

In many Cultures/Countries Mutilation of women is still practiced. When a girl begins to develop her clitoris is cut off and the result is a very painful mutilation. In recent times many Countries have banned Female Mutilation.

In March a majority of lawmakers in Gambia voted to reverse the ban which would have made them the first country in history to reverse a ban.

Defying Harassment on the streets women's rights activists in Gambia waged a months long campaign of mass demonstrations to tell Gambians how female mutilation can cause chronic pain, childbirth comlications,or even death.

After all their hardwork the Ban on female mutilation was upheld!

Another instance of women not allowing their culture to go backward. In the face of severe and life threatening circumstances they banded together and held firm!

Congratulations to the women of Gambia!

Women Adapt Better to Space

Apparently a new study found women bounce back from the physical toll of space travel more easily then men do. In recent year many studies have resulted in findings that women are better ar adapting to change then men are. And here we are, even in space we adapt better!

The men showed more disruption to their genes then the women did.

Guess what the head of the study attributed this to;

"women may be more resilient because their bodies are built to withstand pregnancy and can therefore tolerate large changes in physical and fluid dynamics"

Just let that sink in ladies! Just let that sink in!
