I have been meditating on the truth that we should never give up on the purpose God has for us. He definitely has specific tasks for us. In Ephesians 2:10 we are informed that God has good works all planned out… we have assignments! “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Remember, God only has GOOD plans.
However, there are times that we grow weary. We have obeyed, we have prayed we have sown seed and we see nothing happening. Then comes the temptation to give up!
But do not give up! Don’t grow weary obeying your Lord and doing what He assigned you to do. Harvest time is coming—but you cannot give up! “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Gal 2:9
