On Monday, October 18, join this workshop facilitated by Thomas Hardiman, M.A., Director of Student Conduct and learn more about making difficult decisions as a leader. In a leadership role, it is necessary to make difficult decisions and engage in divisive issues. This workshop will provide a practical approach to exploring multiple perspectives in order to make informed decisions. Students will explore practical decision-making tools and understand how to frame positions around divisive topics.

Operated by Gallup, the well-known global analytics and advice firm, this 177-question assessment measures your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving and categorizes them into the 34 CliftonStrengths themes.

Taking Back Your Time Using CliftonStrengths | October 13 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
In this workshop, you will use your strengths to help understand how you can manage your time more effectively to give you time to do things you want to do! We will also find ways to incorporate your strengths to learn how to study and prepare for your final exams.

A Pathway to a Healthy Life: Leveraging Your CliftonStrengths and Wellbeing | October 20 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Tapping into your strengths can help you create a self-care plan that is tailored to you. Together we will explore the six elements of wellness and how to use the resources NC State has to be healthy, happy, and whole.

Civic and Community Engagement
Mystery Service Saturday on October 16
Mystery Service Saturday is a program where students are given the chance to explore social and volunteer opportunities around North Carolina. Students will embark to an unknown local service organization and provide their help. Afterward, students will be taken to a fun social activity that explores local North Carolina culture. Be excited for the element of surprise and the enjoyment of service!
This event will take place on Saturday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for the event is required. Please reach out to Chaniya Williams at cdwill23@ncsu.edu with any questions.
Feed the Pack Percentage Night at Chipotle on Tuesday, October 12
Feed the Pack is hosting a percentage night with Chipotle on Tuesday, October 12 from 5-9 p.m. This is a great way to support the food pantry and get dinner at the same time. Feed the Pack will receive 33% of the proceeds from the night, which will go to helping us keep our shelves stocked. Please strongly consider buying dinner at Chipotle tomorrow night if you are able and interested.

Test your party knowledge and compete in Party Culture Trivia Night on Tuesday, October 12 from 7-9 p.m. in Talley 4210 for a chance to win prizes!

The Women's Center Turns 30, Celebration on October 14
This year, the Women’s Center celebrates its 30th anniversary at NC State! At the heart of this rich and storied history is a group of tenacious students who sought to establish a space dedicated to advancing gender, equity, and social justice on campus. With the support of Student Affairs staff and the Provost, their dream became a reality in October 1991. That student-led vision has continued to shape the campus climate and culture at NC State to this day.

Yung Gravy and Duckwrth to Headline packHOWL on Thursday, October 14
Yung Gravy and Duckwrth have been announced as packHOWL's headliners! packHOWL is a hip-hop style concert planned by UAB! This is the Concerts Committee’s signature Fall event, drawing in over 4,000 students year after year!

Primetime begins at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum with the concert following shortly after. Doors open at 6 p.m.

"Cruella" Screening on Friday, October 15
Join UAB for its weekly films each Friday in Witherspoon Cinema. Showtimes are at 7 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Grab a friend and don't miss this week's showing of "Cruella" on October 15. Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last.
