Women's Experience of Incarceration
Join us for 'Women's Experience of Incarceration: A Film Screening & Panel Discussion', from 4-7pm, Thursday, March 13th, 2025, in the Stage Room, as we explore the complex and often-overlooked stories of women affected by the prison system.
The event will open with the powerful 'Faces of Mass Incarceration' exhibit, showcasing oil portraits that amplify the voices and stories of formerly incarcerated individuals, system-impacted individuals, and survivors of trauma. Light refreshments will be provided.
After the exhibit, we will screen the moving documentary 'Rebound', which follows the journeys of two San Diego women, Laura and Isabella, as they navigate the challenges of parole, parenting, self-healing, and pursuing higher education after incarceration.
A panel discussion will follow the film, featuring formerly incarcerated individuals featured in the exhibit and UCSD students impacted by incarceration.
This event is free and open to the public, and we invite all to attend and join the conversation. Together, let's work towards a deeper understanding of the female experience of incarceration and explore ways to create positive change and support for those affected.
Attendees will have an opportunity to enter a raffle to win a Triton sweatshirt!

STEMinist Network
The STEMinist Network is a drop-in program that creates opportunities for gender marginalized undergraduate students in STEM to connect and build community within the larger context of STEM as a male dominated field.
We focus on gender and science, community building, and professional development. We use the term “gender marginalized” to recognize the impact of sexism on many communities including, but not limited to, transgender women, cisgender women, transgender men, non-binary individuals, and gender non-conforming individuals. STEMinist Network is open to all undergraduate students in STEM majors.

Parents, Guardians, and Caregiver Association Chat 4 Six -
Winter ‘25 Quarter
Greetings all!
The Parents, Guardians, and Caregiver Association coordinates a Chat 4 Six engagement to help members connect with fellow parents. We hope to offer this opportunity once each quarter as interest permits.
What is Chat 4 Six? We collect groups of six people based on their response to the demographic question of who they want to connect with (e.g., new parents, parents of multiple children, others currently breastfeeding, etc.). Once the groups are created, email is sent to leads (interest also self-identified on the Form) to organize a date that works for participants to meet in-person or online.
Please click the link below and submit the Google Form to connect with fellow parents, guardians, and caregivers across the campus!
