Economic Development: Women’s History Month Panel

March is Women’s History Month and the Midway Chamber is celebrating with a panel of female leaders in the Midway. Hear their stories and get inspired on their journey to becoming successful. Speakers include Danielle Graczyk, founder/executive director, Canine Inspired Change; Jill Pavlak, co-head honcho, Urban Growler.

Danielle Graczyk, founder/executive director, Canine Inspired Change

Danielle formally founded Canine Inspired Change in 2014 after four years of program development and refinement. She brings lived experience to the work of the organization, growing up through challenging circumstances and recovering from addiction. She has 20+ years experience training and working with dogs and 10+ years of experience developing trauma-informed curriculum with community partners serving adults and youth, nonprofit management, program evaluation, and leadership development. She is a frequent guest speaker at health conferences and trainings, and has developed valued relationships with legal experts, behavioral analysts and education experts, all reinforcing the transformative nature of connection and community that is inspired by the unconditional, non-judgmental love dogs provide.

Jill Pavlak, co-head honcho, Urban Growler

Jill Pavlak is Co-Head Honcho at Urban Growler. Jill graduated with a degree in Speech Communications and Psychology – talk about perfect training for this industry. Prior to Urban Growler she owned two other successful businesses. Jill is as personable as they come. She’s warm and funny with an engaging personality. For her it’s all about relationships – people really are her passion, she is forever making connections. It would be hard to say in a few words what Jill does at the brewery – she’s our customer service guru, she’s the saddle on our horse, she’s the carbonation in our beer and the hair plug in our toupee. She’s here for you.
